It's a WIP in first person POV (which, really, people need WARNINGS for? Please unbunch your panties, fandom), present tense to boot. I guess if I'm going to break my own rules I figure I should go all out. :D

Rub those temples & dive in. I think the Bones fandom broke me of my knee-jerk reactions to POV and present tense. It used to be I couldn't click the back button fast enough when I found myself staring at a story with one of those, let alone both, so I totally get your trepidation. But now it's usually some other egregious error that sends me screaming for the hills. There are still lots and lots of those out there. /fic snob

Anyway, for real, I hope you'll give it a shot. And I hope you'll like it, but can understand that the format may not suit you. All I know is that it's made me excited about something in this fandom for the first time in a very long time.
