Oh, there's the song! I was waiting for your creation using it. I like these images of Sarah and I like the colouring you've used, too, and it does look dreamlike (the Sarah on the right), which goes well with the song lyrics.

This is a different song, actually. :\ The one you helped me with is coming along, but it's nowhere near the point of my being able to post it without huge embarrassment. hahah (This song came with translation. I'm trusting the songwriter to know what they're talking about.)

Since it's not what you thought it was, do you still want the icon? I'm *gasp* actually going out tonight, so I won't be able to get it to you until tomorrow evening.

Oooh, lovely! I absolutely love the coloring on this! And the sparkley / lens flare texture! And, I want that first icon! *is greedy*

Okay, you can punch me for this if you want buuuuut - what does the text say? To be honest, I'm not crazy about the text on this piece :/ Usually I'm a big text nut, but I dont think this piece needs any. Maybe it's because the text is almost transparent enough to be a texture but not quite transparent enough?

Another comment I didn't get an email for. This is making me sad. :(

What's NOT making me sad, though, is the fact that you're being honest. I LOVE THAT (and would never punch you or throw footwear at you for being honest!) I waffled back and forth with the text, but ultimately felt (was afraid that?) without the text it was too bare. I'll go home and play with it a bit, try it with different blending options, different opacity, and take a hard look at it again without any text at all.

Images from space are some of my favorite textures to use. Here's a small version of the original I used for this piece: Sparkly! (That's called the Jewel Box, appropriately enough.
