Bonesing it
I'm in the middle of a Bones-from-the-start marathon, and I just finished The Baby in the Bough. Adorable! Now, I really, distressingly and a little desperately, want Bones/Booth baby fic. I wouldn't be averse to recs if anyone might feel like tossing some my way. Though I have a little trepidation, I'm pretty sure capturing certain character's voices will be, er, difficult.

How about fic where Booth is wearing the belt, the socks, and thats basically it? I could go for that.

I've got a tab open to this story which was recced there, but haven't started it yet. The folks who commented on the rec spoke highly of it -- and used complete sentences to do so, so I'm cautiously optimistic!

I am right in the middle of two other fics but as soon as I finish I will read this. I read some reviews for it and they sounded quite promising.
I'm nervous about the character voices - will they get them right? Hmmmnn
This will be the perfect thing to mitigate my outrage and confusion at last week's 100th episode.

The character voices thing is my biggest concern, too. There are some pretty distinct tics and twitches to try & capture.
Also, someone (or several someones, really) need slapped upside the head for last week's ep. Apparently fans were the only people paying attention to the previous 99 episodes. Oy vey.

The first chapter took a bit of getting into (I love Sweets, I do, but he's not the most dynamic character to launch a story off of, maybe. At least for me.), but by the end of the second, I was definitely hooked. There are a few minor quibbles (typos, for the most part. Like I said, quibbles. I don't know if you've noticed, I tend to be nitpicky about these things. ;), but overall, it's really a well-written tale. I laughed, I cried a little, the characters sounded like the characters. What's not to like? :)
