So, I love custom shapes. What can I say?

The second one has been done for a while now, just waiting for text, but I couldn't find anything that really fit, and have decided to post as is. I'm open to suggestions, if you have any. Please! :)

I'm playing catchup today after my LJ hiatus, so prepared to be bombarded while I read all your posts from the last week and a half *snort*

Really love the coloring on the first banner, and the funky shape! To hell with rectangles! I am also really intrigued by the background image, it looks very organic and fits perfectly with SMG's summery hat :) I'm gonna snag the SMG icon buuuuuuut if you feel like personalizing it for me I wouldn't complain a bit! :D

I love both the pics you used in the second banner as well. You have this incredible balance in your banners that I envy. Mine always end up being too heavy on one side. But even though Spike is quite larger than SMG *pulls out a laser pointer to accent her point* He doesn't overwhelm the image - its perfect. And I hate you. :P Yet another part of your brain I need to clone - bwah!

I had to send out a couple emails in the middle of this comment so I forgot half of what I was going to say. And yeah, it's been like a Monday all freakin' week.

So. I have this big list of quotes and whatnot in a notebook and on stickys that I have been gathering to use on banners/graphics/icons. I was going to make a post for myself to organize my thoughts because the stickys are getting out of control. Once I do, you are more then welcome to peruse my muddled thoughts and pick anything you'd like :)

*end thought* Dont worry, there's probably another I'm forgetting :P

Seriously, I'm getting pissed at gmail. I never got notified about your first comment, but this one came through. ANYWAY! THANK YOU. I'm all :D that you like them, even if it means you hate me. ;)

I honestly think I have more fun making backgrounds than just about any other aspect of graphics making. So many different ways to build layers and play with textures and brushes. Love eet!

I will definitely be scoping out your collection of quotations, thank you so much for the offer.

Now to check my other recent posts to see what else gmail hasn't sent me. argh!

Funny enough I was flipping channels last night and saw Slater (because I have no clue what his real name is) on Animal Planet and totally wanted to watched some Saved By the Bell.

I really do love your backgrounds. It's a total skill set in itself which, while obviously in the background, is an important element to every graphic.

I think gmail is a funk. Mine is acting up too. But, I am now caught up on your LJ :D
