Set Season 6, Post-"Gone." Though if you're at all opposed to reading (even a memory of) Buffy with Angel, steer clear. It's beautifully done, and you'll be missing out, but the start of Chapter 3 is Buffy recalling their one night together. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. Don't complain to me (or Rio!) if you find it upsetting. *stern face*

Oh, man! I was so addicted to reading fanfic last year that I failed 3 subjects in 1 semester. That can't happen again, especially since it's my last *crosses fingers* year! :D
